Pastor Shadrack Ruto has been in the ministry of our Lord for over 20 years. Before moving to Dallas, Texas, Pastor Ruto served as Pastor in Kenya, South Carolina and Illinois. He was discipled under the Ministry of Navigators in Kenya. He is the senior Pastor of Upendo Baptist Church which he founded in July 1998. He is also founder and president of PEP Ministries International, a ministry that is geared towards promoting expository preaching and encouraging pastors in Africa. Pastor Ruto currently serves on the Kenya Christian Fellowship of America (KCFA) National Board of Trustee. He also serves on the Baptist General Convention of Texas (BGCT) Inter-cultural Advisory Counsel. Pastor Ruto is married to Elizabeth. They have four daughters and one son.
