Children's Ministry

Reaching Every Child

As a ministry, our vision is to bring God's truth to the lives of children. We seek to reach the unsaved child as well as develop the saved child. We are committed to the call and responsibility of guiding children in the way they should go. It is our goal at Upendo to meet the spiritual needs of each and every child that comes to our church.

Sunday School

Sunday School is our prime teaching time. It is here that the children are introduced to God, His word and encouraged to live a life pleasing to him.

We have an age-graded program that spans from nursery through grade six. Children are taught God's word through Bible stories, scripture memory, songs and crafts. Age appropriate activities are offered that are designed to partner with parents in helping children have a personal and growing relationship with Jesus Christ.

Children's Choir

Our Children's Choir is now the Sunday School Choir. Children get opportunities to prepare and present musical and drama through Summer, Spring and Fall.
