Pastor Shadrack Ruto Pastor Shadrack Ruto has been in the ministry of our Lord for over 20 years. Before moving to Dallas, Texas, Pasotr Ruto served as Pastor in Kenya, South Carolina and Illinois. He was discipled under the Ministry of Navigators in Kenya. He is the senior Pastor of Upendo Baptist Church which he founded in July 1998. He is also founder and president of PEP Ministries International, a ministry that is geared towards promoting expository preaching and encouraging pastors in Africa. Pastor Ruto currently serves on the National Board of the Kenya Christian Fellowship of America (KCFA) as the National Singles' director. He also serves on the Baptist General Convention of Texas (BGTC) Inter-cultural Advisory Counsel. Pastor Ruto is married to Elizabeth. They have three daughters and a son. Pastor Joseph Mutisya 
Pastor Joseph Mutisya has served as a pastor for ten years in Nairobi, Kenya and taught theology at the Nairobi International School of Theology for two years before coming to the US. He also was Intern Pastor in the African Fellowship Church in Grand Rapids, Michigan for one year before coming to Dallas. He is married to Veronica. They have a daughter, Jane.
Pastor William Bittock
Most importantly William loves Jesus as his personal savior and will serve willingly where ever He calls and leads him. William and his wife Pamel have been married for over 13 years. They are blessed with twins, Elisha and Malaika. Pastor Samson Muniu
Pastor Muniu is married to Lily. They have two girls, Lynn and Linsy. |

Before
joining Upendo, Pastor Muniu served as students' pastor at
Egerton University, Njoro, Kenya and as associate pastor at
The Nakuru Chapel. Pastor Muniu began his ministry involvement
as a youth leader and an interpreter with the Assemblies of
God church Nakuru, Kenya.
